Granite Cost Calculator Formula

1. Area (in square feet)

We first calculate the area of the granite slab.

$\text{Area} = \text{Length (in feet)} \times \text{Width (in feet)}$

2. Adjusted Price Based on Thickness

Since the price you enter is based on 1-inch thickness, we multiply it with the actual thickness in inches to get the adjusted price.

$\text{Adjusted Price} = \text{Base Price} \times \left(\frac{\text{Thickness (in inches)}}{1}\right)$

3. Total Granite Cost

Now that we have the area and the adjusted price per square foot, we multiply them to get the total cost.
