Why Paver Estimator?

The estimator helps you determine the exact number of pavers needed for your project, preventing over- or under-purchasing. This saves you money and reduces waste. By entering the price per paver, you can get an estimated total cost for the pavers themselves. This helps you set a realistic budget for your project.

How Work Paver Estimator?

Step 1 : Calculating the project area

Calculating the project area for pavers is a simple process, measure the length and width.

Once you have the length and width, use the following formula to calculate the project area:

Project Area  = Length x Width

Example:

If your project area is a rectangle with a length of 10 feet and a width of 8 feet:

  • Project Area = 10 feet x 8 feet = 80 square feet

Step 2 : Calculating the paver brick size

You can calculate the size of a paver brick using its length and width. Here's how:

Measure the length and width of the paver brick.

Use the following formula to calculate the size of the paver brick:

Paver brick size = Length x Width

Step 3 : How many pavers you need for a paving project?

Calculating the number of pavers needed for your project involves two steps:

Divide the total project area (in square feet) by the area of a single paver (in square feet) to get the number of pavers needed.

Number of Pavers=Project AreaPaver Size\text{Number of Pavers} = \frac{\text{Project Area}}{\text{Paver Size}}

Example:

Let's say your project area is 80 square feet, and you're using pavers that are 0.5 feet long and 0.5 feet wide:

  • Paver Size = 0.5 feet x 0.5 feet = 0.25 square feet
  • Number of Pavers = 80 square feet / 0.25 square feet/paver = 320 pavers

Therefore, you would need approximately 320 pavers for your project.
